What draws most costumers here—apart from its clean and cozy ambiance—is the “academic” part of the whole coffee drinking experience.
“All of our staff are trained on how a particular drink is prepared, from the roasting of the coffee beans to the blending itself. This is so we can respond to any guest who wants to know how the drink was prepared and where the beans came from,” said Jasper Sangalang, supervisor at the Marlim Mansion branch in Angeles City.
From its first shop in Sta. Rosario, the Coffee Academy now has seven branches across Pampanga and the brand has evolved to become a coffee bar-restaurant.
Aside from brewed coffees and lattes, best-sellers include the Black Forest, inspired from the flavored cake added with a coffee twist, and the Cookies and Cream milk shake.
Their main dishes are quite affordable and mostly good for sharing. Recommended dishes include Pampanga’s famous sisig and spicy pancit canton.
