Females dominate jobs in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT – Jobs inside the sprawling Clark Freeport is reportedly dominated by the female gender, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) report stated.
In a report submitted by the CDC-Customer Service Department, some 50.60 percent or 29,964 employees in Clark are female while 49.40 percent or 29,253 employees are male.
Of the 29,253 male workers, 38.73 percent are into the industrial furniture and crafts industry; another 76.43 percent belong to industrial and other manufacturing firms; while 53.50 percent work in tourism-related jobs.
For the 29,964 female Clark employees, 68.60 percent work for industrial sewing companies, 61.27 percent are employed in industrial electronics firms and 54.46 percent work for the information technology and telecommunications industry.
The remaining percentage of workers belong to other employment-generating sectors, among them commercial, warehouse and trading, aviation, and utilities.
As of October 31, 2010, Clark boasts of 59,217 employees from 434 reporting Clark locators. The CDC-CSD reported that since 1993, the Freeport has generated a total of 245,737 jobs.

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple: after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave. From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City. From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
