Clark Wine Center is pleased to relay interesting news and articles about wine to you on this web site. We hope that this will enhance your wine shopping experience when you visit this wine shop in Pampanga Clark Freeport Zone.
While the Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin (OIV) hones its predictions for this year’s harvest, France has claimed the top spot in terms of wine production, with an estimated production of 45.7m hectolitres. France has reclaimed the title after losing out to Italy in 2007 and 2008. For 2009, Italian production will be 45.5m hectolitres. Spain’s harvest is equally lean, at 34.2m hectolitres.
Worldwide wine production should remain stable in relation to 2008, at between 262.8 and 273.1m hectolitres. Consumption of wine will fluctuate between 241 and 251.5m hectolitres. Taking into account industrial demand, it is impossible to talk about wine trade surplus for net earnings which continue to shrink.
