Peace group formed

ANGELES CITY – Some residents of a subdivision here have formed a group that seeks to maintain peace and order in their village.
The group “K5” was formed by several residents of Diamond Subdivision in Barangay Balibago to ensure peace and order within their community.
The K5 is composed of Jojo Haynes, Dan Manansala, Chito Abrea, Marecel Sto. Domingo, Christy Poschung, Venie Lyon, Lance Taylor, Nilda Feliciano, Aida Camaso, Pasky Aguilar, Tess De Leon, Gloria Ramos, Valentine Dizon, Mario Lalic and Mar Roxas.
The group members said their efforts will be focused on maintaining a sense of mutual respect at the subdivision, which is threatened by over-commercialism.
“This group should lead our place so that the welfare of the majority will be prioritized,” said James Santos who resides with his relatives at Sarita Street.
On Valentine’s Day, K5 members cleaned up the village park as a way to show that their platform pegs on a quiet, safe and gated community.
“We want to maintain a harmonious and healthy subdivision. Our place is a private residential community,” K5 members said.
It could be recalled that several crimes, mostly fights and robberies, happened at the subdivision when the gates had been opened to the public.
