The Languedoc-Roussillon wine Regional Tourism Committee and the “South of France” are launching a week long Languedoc-Roussillon AOC wine promotion on Paris–Bordeaux–Toulouse and Paris–Lyon TGV trains. Restaurant cars will be decked out in dedicated POS material with sales literature and vineyards maps, as well as Languedoc-Roussillon wine tastings.

This is good timing because, under the “South of France” aegis, all the region’s interprofessions (CIVL, Inter Oc, CIVR, Airsud and also Inter Rhône), are signing up to a regional communication campaign for rosé wine. This will aim at persuading the 15 million tourists visiting the region this summer to purchase a rosé wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region, rather than Provence. With a promotional budget of € 500,000, and the campaign includes: press, radio and poster advertising, a wine consumer contest conveyed on 1.5 million neck sleeves in stores from Nimes to Perpignan.

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple:  after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave.  From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City.  From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
