Mga sundalo ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, napalapit sa mga estudyante sa Pampanga

PAMPANGA, Philippines —Tagapagbantay ng securidad ng ating bansa. Ito ang pagkakilala ng ilang kabataan sa mga sundalo.
Ani Marjorie Nucum, estudyante sa Apalit High School, “yung mga sundalo sa pagkakaalam ko mga nakikipaglaban para sa bayan po, mga may hawak ng baril.”
Dahil sa ipinapatayong two-storey school building nina Brother Eli Soriano ng Ang Dating Daan at Kuya Daniel Razon ng UNTV sa Apalit High School katulong ang Department of Education at Armed Forces of the Philippines, nabigyan ng pagkakataong makapaglingkod sa komunidad ang mga sundalo dahil sila ang pangunahing mga volunteer sa nasabing ipinapatayong gusali.
“Ang ganda ng bonding nila. It is not just the building of the structure which is important to us right now. It is being able to reach out to our people, the building of a partnerships, the building of relationships, taos sa puso ang pasasalamat namin because they have given us the opportunity to serve,” ani Major General Carlos B. Holganza, AFP Commander ng National Development Support Command (NADESCOM).
Ayon pa sa mga sundalo, ang proyektong ito ang nagbigay daan para mapalapit sila sa puso ng mga kabataan dito.
“Tuwang-tuwa ako ng pagpasok ko dito nakikita ko yung mga estudyante dito mahal na mahal ang mga sundalo, mga sundalo natin ay parang mga kuya, mga kuya kuya talaga nila. So yun, ang mga add ons na nagagawa ng mga proyektong ito,” pahayag ni Major General Holganza.
Dahil sa bagong building, ang mga kilalang tagapagbantay ng seguridad ng bansa ay naging malapit na kaibigan ng mga estudyante.
“Nagkaroon po ng relationship na parang in friendship… Nagkaroon po ng mga programs sa school namin nagkakaroon din po ng participation ang mga sundalo,” anang 4th year student ng Apalit High School na si Marvin Morales. (Ito ang balita ni Nath Arciaga, UNTV News)
