OFW Family Day at SM City today
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (Owwa) regional office will celebrate the overseas Filipino workers’ (OFW) Family Day Sunday at the Event Center of SM City Pampanga.
Officials of the Owwa Regional Welfare Office 3 said it has been a tradition to celebrate a whole day affair to give tribute to the OFWs and their families.
“This is in appreciation for their invaluable contribution to the economic development of our nation, and a venue for establishing harmony and unity, as well as renewing ties among the OFWs and their families,” Owwa officials said.
Registration will start at 10 a.m., while the program proper starts at 1 p.m.
“We have lined-up activities such as parlor games for everyone, raffle draw, free reflexology services and a lot more surprises. The regional winners of the 2010 Model OFW Family of the Year Award will likewise be presented,” the organizer said. (Ria de Fiesta)

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple: after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave. From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City. From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
