Priest among outstanding Kapampangans

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Fr. Pompeyo F. De Mesa, OP, of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) has been chosen by the Provincial Government of Pampanga as Most Outstanding Kapampangan (MOKA) of 2010 in the field of Education.
De Mesa is presently the regent of the Faculty of Pharmacy and professor at the UST Seminary. He teaches the German language in the College of Sciences.
De Mesa is the eldest son of the late lawyer Cristino de Mesa and Avelina Francia of Guagua, Pampanga.
The awarding ceremony will be held on Saturday, Pampanga Day, at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, this City.
The MOKA is given to Kapampangans who have brought honor, distinction and service to cabalens and the province locally, nationally or internationally.
Other MOKA awardees will be chosen in the fields of law enforcement, parenthood, sports, government service, business and entrepreneurship, religion, arts, culture, agriculture, science and technology, mass media, youth service, judicial service, and social service.

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple: after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave. From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City. From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
