Sapnu: Kampanya Laban sa Riders in Tandem

MULA nang sinimulan ng City of San Fernando police station ang kanilang kampanya laban sa mga riders in tandem ay umabot na sa mahigit 1,000 ang kanilang nasita at naaresto.
Sang-ayon kay Supt. Homer Penecilla, chief of police ng CSF, pagkautos ni Chief Supt. Alan La Madrid Purisima, Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) director, na paigtingin ang kampanya laban sa riders in tandem ay kaagad itong tumalima.
Kaya mula nitong nakaraang Enero hanggang Marso 15, mayroon ng kabuwang 1,234 riders in tandem ang kanilang naaresto at nasampahan ng kaukulang kaso.
Sang-ayon kay Penecilla, sa unang bugso ng kanilang kampanya ay umabot kaagad sa 500 na mga riders in tandem ang kanilang nasita at nasampahan ng iba’t ibang kaso.
Ang mga ito anya ay nasita sa iba’t ibang itinayong PNP checkpoints sa strategic areas sa lungsod.
Karamihan sa kanilang naaresto ay pawang walang suot na helmet, walang reflector at kung minsan ay hindi dala ang kaukulang dokumento ng kanilang sinasakyan na motorsiklo, ayon pa kay Penecilla.
Sang-ayon pa kay Penecilla, umaabot na sa 21 PNP checkpoints sa iba’t ibang lugar sa lungsod ang kanilang naitatayo. Ito aniya ay upang maging epektibo ang kanilang kampanya laban sa riders in tandem.
Ni isang motorsiklo ay walang pinalalampas sa bawa’t PNP checkpoint upang makasiguro na hindi makapasok ang lawless elements sa lungsod, pahayag pa ni hepe.
“Kinakailangan ang double-work upang makatiyak kami na walang makakalusot na lawless elements,” dagdag pa ni Penecilla.
Araw at gabi ang ginagawang pag-checkpoint ng CSF police station at paiba-iba ng lugar at oras upang hindi ma-monitor ng lawless elements.
Bukod sa mga PNP checkpoints, patuloy pa rin ang pagsasagawa ng patrolya ng CSF police force sa mga barangay sa lungsod at maging sa mga subdivision.
Sana sa mga ginagawang kampanya laban sa riders in tandem ng CSF police station ay tularan ng ibang police station upang sa ganoon walang ni isa sa kanila na makakagawa ng krimen sa Pampanga.
At sana sir Penecilla ipagpatuloy ninyo ang araw-araw na checkpoints upang hindi na kayo malusutan ng mga lawless elements na pawang riders in tandem para maging peaceful and orderly ang sitwasyon sa City of San Fernando.

Walang Aksyon?
Noong nakaraang linggo (Marso 20), isang anim na taong batang lalaki ang nasawi sa nangyaring vehicular accident sa kahabaan ng Jose Abad Santos Avenue o JASA, dating GSO road.
Ang sangkot sa nasabing insidente ay ang isang behikulo ng Regional Department of Agrarian Reform na minamaneho ni Pablo Malonzo, 53, ng San Pedro, San Simon at si Christopher Nunez, 29, ng Safer Village, Dolores, City of San Fernando.
Dakong 8:30 ng gabi ng maganap ang nasabing aksidente na kung saan si Nunez at asawa nitong si Gemmalyn at mga anak na sina Carlo Jay, 3, John Christopher, 6, at Darryl 3, ay nakasakay sa Kawasaki tricycle (6415-CL) pauwi galing sa McDonald sa intersection, nang mabunggo umano sila ng Toyota Revo (SFN-412) na pag-aari ng DAR.
At dahil tricycle lang ang nakabangga ng Toyota Revo, tumilapon umano ang Nunez family at kaagad namang dinala sa ospital ni Chief Insp. Dan Gallano, chief ng Dolores Compac, na nagkataon ay nagpapatrolya nang oras na iyon.
Ang masaklap, ang anak ni Nunez na si John Christopher ay nasawi sa nasabing aksidente at hanggang ngayon ay walang naging aksyon ang DAR, ayon kay Nards Nunez, grandfather ng nasawi.
Sang-ayon sa grandfather hanggang sa ngayon ay walang naitulong ang drayber. At ayon sa kanya lasing umano ang drayber nang araw ng aksdiente, ngunit sa police report hindi sinabi kung lasing si Malonzo.
At hindi rin nakasulat sa report kung ang Toyota Revo ay behikulo ng DAR.
Ano kaya ang gagawing aksyon ng DAR officials sa nasabing aksidente?
