Pouilly-Fuissé
A Chardonnay, famous for its finesse and elegance, from the separate villages of Pouilly and Fuissé . Very well-balanced between the fruit (pear and apricot) and floral notes, with a delicate touch of honey. Finishes with mineral and oak undertones. Tailor-made for seafood, shellfish, and white meats.

Tasting Notes
Location:
Pouilly and Fuissé are the names of two Maconnais villages situated in the extreme south of the Côte Maconnaise and next to St Véran. Pouilly-Fuissé covers 2,330 acres spread over four villages in Maconnais, from the Saone and Loire region, between Tournus and Macon, west of the Saône River.

100% Chardonnay

Winemaking:
Vinification in barrels; aged in 20% oak barrels and one third in new oak for eight months. We select our oak barrels in the Allier and Vosges regions in order to diversify the woody taste.

Visual Aspect:
Pale green gold, brilliant and limpid.

Nose:
Elegant, lots of mineral aromas, with floral notes and a delicate touch of honey

Palate:
Mineral style. Very smooth, elegant and lean

Food Pairing:
Starters, cold meats, oysters, seafood and shells, fish, frogs legs, white meats in a creamy sauce, poached chicken
